UAE TDRA Mandates New Cybersecurity Standards

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) now requires cybersecurity certification for all connected consumer electronics.

The TDRA has launched a new cybersecurity framework for consumer IoT devices. All devices with wireless connectivity must now undergo evaluation against ETSI EN 303 645 or equivalent standards to obtain marketing authorization in the United Arab Emirates.
